Last year, Lightscape was still delighting crowds across the pond in London with its festive displays. But on November 22nd, it’s making its stateside debut. Lightscape at the Chicago Botanic Garden brings the same holiday magic to your city with the help of the garden’s resident trees and plants.
Step into the garden and you’ll encounter towering trees wrapped in strings of glowing lights, which change hues as festive tunes play. You’ll walk through hanging sheets of lights and a massive archway swathed in a golden glow. You’ll find firepits for toasting marshmallows and a wintry scene flickering with candlelight and spiked with the scent of frankincense. Stroll through Lightscape and get in the holiday spirit before it goes into hibernation on January 5th. Tickets start at $17 for adults.
