By day, the Lincoln Park Zoo may be a haven for animal lovers of all ages. But by night, it transforms into a big outdoor party for grown-ups only—at least, it will for one evening this October. The Adults Night Out: The Great Pumpkin Glow event is taking over the zoo on Thursday, October 24th from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
Only folks who are 18 or older are welcome for this one-off event that celebrates Halloween a few days early. You’ll have unlimited access to the entire zoo, including the Great Pumpkin Glow jack-o-lantern trail in the Children’s Zoo and the sprawling corn maze on the South Lawn. Grab a beverage from one of the cash bars, check out a special animal enrichment activity, and meander around the zoo greeting any animals who are still out and about. You can also go for a free ride on the Endangered Species Carousel and make a pit stop at the zoo’s pumpkin patch. Tickets are $15.
