The KVL Flower Ball promises to be an immersive performance art event culminating in a spectacular fashion show. But before it can begin, the minimalist space at CineCity Chicago Studios (usually a place for movie sets and photo shoots) has to be transformed into a lavish indoor garden. Hundreds of fresh flowers flood the space with their bold colors and fresh scents. They create the perfect backdrop for the high-end fashion show at the end of the evening on November 5th.
However, there’s a lot to do before the fashion show even begins. The day kicks off with an expo in the showroom, dedicated to the highest quality cannabis products available on the market today. The expo is interspersed with unique performance art, including a live mural painting by Chicago-based Darrius Dennis and live shoe-painting courtesy of creative artist Matt Burzec of Kicks of Chicago. Then there’s cocktail hour, followed by the fashion show and a performance by Vic Mensa, all capped off with an after-party. Tickets start at $65 for the KVL Flower Ball.
